See the gallery to the left of Megan's recent paintings.

Drawings

Megan continues her art practice through drawing, experimenting with medium and subject matter.

The gallery to the right exhibits some of Megan's recent work in ink. Inspired by the challenge of Inktober, see to the right some selections of ink drawings.

To the right is a selection of Megan's pencil drawings. Some of these sketches are inspired by pop-culture, movies, and TV shows. The sketches inspired by media are for personal and portfolio use only.

Other sketches are from Megan's travels; the photos in these collections are some of Megan's sketches in Montmartre in Paris, France.

Graduation Caps

Megan has been honored to paint acrylic scenes and meaninful quotes on graduation caps.

Theatre Design

While studying Theatre at Le Moyne College, Megan took a class called "Fundamentals of  Design," which provided instruction in costume design and set design. Costume design is comprised of figure drawing and also designing clothing and costume pieces. Set design is technical drawing to scale of specific theatres, with basic knowledge of construction, as well as furniture design.

See gallery to the right to see examples of Megan's theatre design portfolio.

Tiny Paintings

See to the left for a collection of tiny paintings by Megan. A few paintings are done on index cards, while the watercolor paintings are likewise small.

Megan also made custom watercolor bookmarks with blank books so that the reader may fill in the books they've read.

Breadth

AP Art Portfolio

Megan recieved the score of 5, the highest score, on her AP art portfolio.

To the left is her breadth section, which demonstrated her mastery of skills in different media, her ability to figure-draw, create abstract art, as well as still-lives from observation.

To the right is Megan's concentration portfolio. In this selection, Megan picked the theme of environmental destruction. Each piece is comprised of two paintings: a puzzle that has been deconstructed, as well as a base painting, to make statements on environmental problems.
